What do the numbers on meeting room icons stand for?
The numbers indicate the capacity of each meeting room. -
I do not see any team members that I added
The list will only show team members that currently have an active booking on the selected day. -
Can I use a Rooted Android device?
No, for security reasons opening iotspot with a rooted device will force close the app. -
I cannot see rooms on the web booking app.
Rooms are not shown on the web booking app, only desks. -
I cannot hide my profile, mask icon isn't visible.
Hiding your profile can only be done on desk bookings, Room bookings are never anonymous. -
Do i have to check in to my workplace at arrival?
No, booking your workplace from home is sufficient.
SETUP APP

I cannot login to the setup app

Both the password AND the username are case sensitive. So if you signed up with "UserName@domain.com", make sure you sign in with that exact spelling.
- Your login credentials have expired, contact iotspot support to renew your credentials.

I cannot scan/edit a iotspot

If you have an Android phone, make sure you have NFC enabled. (article on NFC scanning).
- Make sure you have a strong cellular / WiFi connection.

My iOS setup app does not have all tools
Up until now (15-04-21) the Android setup app has more functionality than the iOS setup app. Namely, Sensor Pairing, Diagnostics, and Swap. -
I do not see all my organization's locations
Contact your administrator to assign you with the correct setup app rights for multiple locations in control center. -
When do I use the Sticker tool?
This tool is only for V1 NFC-stickers or if a sticker needs to be reprogrammed. All current iotspot NFC stickers come pre-configured. -
I get an "organization not allowed (number)" error message after scanning
You're not an admin in control center for location (number) that the iotspot is assigned to.

I don't see the floors I made in the app
Empty floors / zones do not show. A zone and floor should contain at least one iotspot in order to be visible. -
I cannot login to the control center

Yes, the login credentials for the setup app and the control center are the same -
How long are guest invites valid?
For now, guest invites are active for 1 year. If you wish to have a user invited for a shorter period of time. Delete his invite when needed. -
Can I delete a broken iotspot from my company?
You cannot delete iotspots but only move them. Feel free to replace the iotspot with a new one and copy the current settings using the swap function.

Quicksight does not recognize my account name
The account name is not your username. It is the organization name. Account name = iotspot, the second step will ask for you login credentials.

No, the sensor only measures anonymous occupancy of the workplace. A 1= in use, a 0=not in use. It checks every ~few min -
Can I use multiple sensors with 1 iotspot?
No, for every sensor you need one iotspot. -
The iotspot does not turn green after powering up.

Option 1. Unplug the iotspot, wait 5 seconds, and power it up again.

Option 2. Replace the 5v Adapter with another one.
- Option 3. Move the iotspot to another area and see if it connects there.
